At the age of eight years old, Harry's father bought his first Sunoco station. By age 17 they owned two service stations, one in which Harry ran while attending school full time. Harry's shop was opened as a custom exhaust and repair shop. After nine years, he sold the garage to build a house for his family and decided to work at Mid-Town Tire in Pottstown. Four and a half years later, Harry decided to do bigger things in his life and went to Murray Dodge-Lincoln-Mercury in Phoenixville for five years. He then took a job at Bermont Motors in Gilbertsville so he could work closer to home. During his seventeen years of employment, Harry obtained Master Gold Certification and Automotive Service Excellence Certification. Eventually, he decided to change gears and work for Piazza Hyundai where he loved the product and received his Hyundai Certification. Seven months later a great opportunity arose, and J&H Automotive made it's debut. Now Harry is able to run his own business and work alongside his son and son-in-law.
Mary, his wife, is busy being a grandmother to Cambria, and running her daughter, Colleen, around. In her spare time she likes to crochet, play volleyball, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Colleen is a 10th grader at Boyertown Area High School. She is hoping to play field hockey and lacrosse. She will play fall intramural soccer and take jazz dance classes. Recently, she adopted a beagle puppy named Chip and has been very busy with him.
Josh graduated from Boyertown Area High School in 2006 where he was able to attend automotive classes at Vo-Tech for three years. He worked co-op for his senior year at Tri-County Toyota and has been there ever since. He attended the Toyota School in Glen Burnie, MD for six weeks. In his spare time, Josh is on the pit crew of his girlfriend's, brother's Quarter-Midget racing team. He will also coach Colleen's soccer team in the fall.
We bring many various experiences to the community from the different backgrounds of Harry and Josh.
